About Tie Games
Tie Games is an independent board game publisher founded by Finnish board game designer Vilma Vihervaara. After designing her first published game, Trollius'n Roll (2024), Vilma founded Tie Games to publish her own games. The company's first published game, PuffiNova, will be released in autumn 2026. Tie Games aims to create memorable board game experiences for families and hobby gamers alike.

The People behind PuffiNova
Vilma Vihervaara
Vilma is the founder and COO of Tie Games and the designer behind PuffiNova. She has been passionate about board games for many years and is also a regular contributor to Lautapeliopas, the largest board game website of Finland. Her goal is to create games that bring families and friends together around the table and create lasting memories.
Jasu Hintsala
Jasu is the illustrator behind the artwork of PuffiNova. She created all of the game's illustrations by hand, painting them with real watercolors to bring the world of PuffiNova to life. In addition to her work on board games, Jasu has also illustrated and published children's books. You can visit her website here.
Juhana Keskinen
Juhana Keskinen is the co-designer of PuffiNova. Together with Vilma, he previously designed Trollius'n Roll. Having tried more than 2,300 different board games, Juhana brings extensive knowledge of modern game design and mechanics to the development of PuffiNova.
